The PXG 0211 Bayonet Putter is a traditionally shaped blade, one of the lightest putters in the 0211 lineup. Designed for enhanced control and accuracy, this putter features PXG's bold Runway Reticle alignment aid, a flared dual-step geometry, and a top rail line.
Incredibly easy to align, the Bayonet offers excellent sound and feel, as well as exceptional consistency across the face. The prominent Runway Reticle alignment feature presents a geometric, arrow-like aid that supports enhanced face awareness and control, working in tandem with the topline alignment feature to improve aim throughout the putting stroke. The flared cavity provides visual cues and helps save critical mass from the center of the clubhead, which is then repositioned on the perimeter for improved MOI and stroke stability.
Further enhancing performance, the Pyramid Face Pattern, also featured in PXG's flagship Battle Ready Putters, is engineered for maximum performance across the club face. Based on tour player feedback and R&D testing, the groove depth enhances feel and optimizes initial ball velocity, ensuring consistency in factors that affect roll, such as launch angle, spin rates, and skid distance.
The heel-shafted hosel orients the shaft axis far into the heel side of the putter, creating significant toe hang. This increases the inertial force required to rotate the putter face, making it optimal for players who tend to over-rotate the clubhead at impact, as they will appreciate the greater control and stability.
Crafted with cast 303 stainless steel, the PXG 0211 Bayonet Putter boasts a stock head weight of 350g, a loft of 3°, and a lie of 70°. It features PXG's Runway Reticle and a top rail line with flared dual-step geometry, with no adjustable weights. The Bayonet's plumber's neck hosel completes the design.
When compared to other putters in the 0211 lineup, the Bayonet offers a traditional blade-style design, similar to the Hellcat, but with a heel-shafted hosel creating significant toe hang, unlike the V-42's mid-mallet head and the Hellcat's plumber's neck hosel.
